The old factory was demolished many years ago and replaced by a modern industrial park. The airfield has also been built on. The airfield was still in use for gliding back in the 50s. My father used to work for Pasolds - a knitwear firm which was located just to the south of Langley railway station. They had a sports field next to the factory. I used to accompany my father to cricket matches in the early fifties - most factories had cricket teams - and I remember the gliders operating just to the south east of the factory. With Heathrow just down the road, it is not surprising that the glider ops were soon curtailed.
