 Millers Entry, the name shown on 1846 maps of MillFleet, later became known as Devils Ally, the dark way between the warehouses built much later. Before the warehouse - and before the railway reached the River Ouse Quay - the buildings here would have been similar to those at St Margarets Lane. Millers Entry came out on the north edge of MillFleet and may have been a loading wharf for goods exchange by ship. where the man is seen walking. Millers were once prolific industry on the MillFleet even as far back as the 1200`s

| Small swing bridge, carrying a railway line? This 'Mill Fleet' has since been cut off from the river and a substantial widening of the road has taken place. |
