That whole bottom part of the railway yard including the shed with all the wagons was bulldozed during the early to mid 60's and left to grow wild until the late 70's . maybe 80/81 and then was transformed into a park with paths and swings and manicured grass but has now been left to return to nature . Usually full of drunks in the overgrown bushes most weekends

still a foot path tho , overgrown with trees and brambles . Been using it since attending Colston Secondary in 1975 till 1979 and now living across from where the school was to where i was brought up in Carron Crescent and worked in the railway at Eastfield depot. Still coming across a now derelict park ,which will soon return to what it was after the railway gave it to the council and left it to turn into what looked like a war zone just a waste ground . Because the council won't keep it tidy .
