HMS SUSSEX relocated to Shoreham Harbour where its sea going tender HMS CURZON (A renamed 'TON' class minesweeper nee Fittleton) could moor alongsie the training base.

Original site of 'HMS Sussex' the RNVR training base at Hove. This later became 'HMS KING ALFRED' during WW2. After the war HMS Sussex relocated to Shoreham Harbour in the late 1950's
